Shunsuke is an AI engineer and systems architect with deep expertise in building intelligent platforms from the ground up. As Director of AI Analytics at Ritsumeikan and founder of Nakamura Technologies, he designed predictive models and data pipelines that drove real operational decisions. At Scalyx, he leads the engineering of the AI layer that powers Clara — giving independent retailers the kind of intelligent, automated decision-making that was previously out of reach.

Kazusa has spent 10+ years building enterprise-grade web applications across retail, corporate, and B2B environments. Expert in React, Next.js, and TypeScript, he has a proven record of delivering complex systems that perform at scale without sacrificing usability. At Scalyx, he leads frontend architecture and full-stack development — making sure that powerful AI capabilities translate into software that feels simple and fast on day one.

Barry has spent his career at the highest levels of private capital — as CIO of a $2B real estate family office, Deputy General Manager at Greentown Overseas, and Investment Director at PGC Capital where he led luxury condo developments across international markets. That network of family offices, high-net-worth operators, and luxury retail investors is exactly the universe Scalyx is entering. He leads business development at Scalyx, opening doors that most enterprise software companies take years to reach.

Steven spent eight years at IBM as VP of Data Intelligence, CTO of AI & Data, and member of the AI Ethics Board — one of the few executives to lead across enterprise AI strategy, infrastructure, and governance at that scale. With 20 years at the intersection of high-performance computing and AI, he has seen what separates AI that ships from AI that stalls. At Scalyx, he advises on AI architecture, enterprise readiness, and how to build intelligence into operations without the complexity that kills adoption.

Jayson is General Partner at Legendary Ventures, a venture capital firm specializing in consumer, retail, and technology companies. Since 2012 he has backed and scaled retail businesses across e-commerce, physical retail, and retail technology — with a portfolio spanning dozens of companies at every stage of growth. At Scalyx, he brings the retail market depth and investor relationships needed to put an AI-first ERP in front of the independent retailers who need it most.
